•Law practice is a business and a profession. Businesses need environments and procedures that are geared toward productivity and profitability.

•The skills that it takes to run a business aren’t the same skills it takes to practice law. Running business require to tackle different problems than practicing law.

•This module on Practice Management aims at introducing DLP candidates to the practice of Law Firms. The trainees will be equipped with advanced of Perspectives of Practice Management.

•This module should enable trainees to identify Practice Management issues and factors that affect Lawyers in the setting up and management of their Law Firms and how to address them.

•The teaching method is interactive.

•Interactive teaching is basically just giving students something to do, getting back what they have done, and then assimilating it themselves.
